The Western States Conference on Suicide, training sessions, CEUs are brought to you at no cost thanks to our sponsors and donors. Please consider a contribution today!

Suicide is a tragedy that has impacted thousands of lives in the Northwest. The victims of suicide attempts are scattered throughout our schools, hospitals, cemeteries, and homes. However, we do not have to accept these struggles as inevitable – suicide is preventable. In the last few years, many strides have been made to bring attention to mental health. Localized suicide hotlines are readily available today and suicide warning signs are being shared and discussed in our communities. However, we still have far to go. In the U.S., for every successful suicide there are 60 unsuccessful attempts. Help us work to save lives by capturing the attention of our legislatures, creating more resources for mental health, altering the perspectives of our neighbors, and ensuring that every professional in healthcare and education have the tools necessary to identify at risk youth and thereby prevent a tragedy. We thank you for your attention and your support! (Statistics from the Pacific Northwest Suicide Prevention Resource Center)

A gift to the Western States Conference on Suicide helps fund our mission to save lives and give hope to those affected by suicide.
